The Dry Stone Route
Come and discover the new Dry Stone Route of Llançà, a themed hiking trip where you will discover different existing Dry Stone constructions along the route:
THE DRY STONE ROUTE:
STARTING POINT: Tourist Office
POINT OF ARRIVAL: Tourist Office
DIFFERENCE + : 400 m
TIME-LENGTH: 2h
GRADE OF DIFFICULTY: Medium
TYPE OF TRACK: Wide-track and walking-track
DESCRIPTION OF ITINERARY:
From the Tourist Office we head towards Avenida Antoni Margarits. We will find the vertical signs indicating that we have to turn right to find the road where we will start the climb on our left. A few meters ahead we will find the first construction and later some dry stone walls where we have the option (white marks) to follow a paved road and see some olive grove huts, constructions that we will find along the entire route. If we follow the yellow marks of the path we will find a dove nest, a wall and other huts, of track the white mark. Then we will begin the descent between field terraces where we will see different dry stone elements, some on the path and others off. We will follow the yellow marks until we see the Mas (Catalonian traditional farm house) on our left and we will continue until we reach the point where we will return to the Tourist Office.
RECOMMENDATIONS: Good footwear and good physical condition required
