Sant Ferran Castle (Figueres)

This fortress was built in 1753 and, due to its size, it was the second largest in Europe.

Easter - July - August: open Monday to Sunday, from 10 am to 8 pm

September - October - April - May - June: open Tuesday to Sunday, from 10 am to 6 pm. Open on public holiday Mondays.

November - December - January - February - March: open Tuesday to Sunday, from 10 am to 4 pm. Open on public holiday Mondays.

25 - 26 December and 1 - 6 January: CLOSED

Self-guided visit: €6.00. Free entry for children under 10.

Guided tour of the moats: €10 - €12. Guided tours must be booked one or two days in advance.
